Mike Bunting - Piano and Singing
Mike began his musical education at the age of 5 when he started learning piano and trumpet at school. He achieved grade 8 in both by the age of 14 and an advanced performing certificate in trumpet aged 17. Mike performed for several years with the National Children’s Orchestra at venues such as the Barbican and the Royal Albert Hall. His orchestral journey continued with the East Sussex Youth Orchestra where he was fortunate to play in many prestigious venues across Europe. Whilst at college Mike achieved grade 8 in singing and attended the Junior Royal College of Music studying trumpet and percussion, achieving grade 8 in the latter shortly after. Mike then attended Trinity College of Music where he gained both a BMus Hons degree and postgraduate diploma in classical singing. He has sung bass for the TCM Chamber Choir, the choir at the Royal Hospital Chelsea and the BBC Symphony Chorus. Solo performances include Mendelssohn’s Elijah Stainer’s Crucifixion Mozart Requiem Fauré Requiem Menotti’s opera The Telephone.
As a pianist Mike’s performances include Little Shop of Horrors Copacabana Les Miserables and West Side Story
Mike has performed many continuo performances in various concerts across the South East for Pro Musica and Sussex Symphony Orchestra. He has been playing with the ceilidh band Licence to Ceilidh for 17 years. He occasionally dabbles as a church organist too.
As a teacher Mike is very flexible in his approach. Whether it be studying for grades or learning popular songs the emphasis is on making it fun alongside introducing musical theory
Sam Senior -Kids sessions/Drums
Sam Senior. Multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, performer and tutor from East Sussex. In various different bands,
he has performed at all sorts of music venues such as: The Forum in Tunbridge Wells; The White Rock Theatre; The Brighton
Centre; The Cavern Club in Liverpool and many more.
His teaching style focusses on the overall sound of music and learning how to interpret other instruments.
This helps to develop in a more creative approach.

Andy Williams -Guitar
From an early age Andy always knew the guitar was his future.
Although a largely self taught musician he studied with the renowned jazz guitarist Dave Cliff who put him on the road to a professional playing career. Andy honed his guitar skills playing in bars, hotels, cruise ships including the QE2 and he enjoyed a nine year residency at the Pizza on the Park venue in Knightsbridge, London.
Andy has worked with many of Britain’s finest musicians. These include guitarist Martin Taylor, vocalist Lianne Carroll and saxophonist Alan Barnes. He has performed at many major venues worldwide and can boast performances at the Blue Note jazz club and BB Kings bar in Times Square, New York. At home Andy has played Ronnie Scotts Club, the Royal Festival Hall, the Royal Albert Hall and the Rock Garden in London.
Andy has played with and alongside American guitar players Tal Farlow and Barney Kessel and he performs regularly with the legendary bamboo flautist Deepak Ram. He was a founder member of the acclaimed progressive rock group “Three Friends” and more recently has opened shows for Randy Crawford, Courtney Pine and guitar giants Allan Holdsworth and John Jorgenson.
Current projects include the fusion trio “Engine Clutch and Gearbox” the hi-tech dance duo “Hazardous Funk” and the Spike Heatley jazz quartet. Andy is a first call guitarist for studio sessions and has recorded at Abbey Road studios. He has played guitar on numerous television commercials and children's interactive computer games. He is also involved with some of the local theatre shows and is “artist in residence” at Bedes school in East Sussex.

Josh Symes- Drums
Josh is a professional Drummer, Percussionist and Educator from the South East coast of England. Musical credits include; Beyond The Barricade UK Tour (2023/24); Beauty And The Beast, Jordan Productions Pantomimes (2023); Percussion deps Evita (2019); Gang Show for Richard Horne, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (2021); first album recorded aged 13 used by the BBC for ‘The Boat Race’ closing credits (2011); National and International playing credits with ‘Licence to Ceilidh’ (clients include: BBC, Channel 4, E4, ITV, Sting); Drums Annie, Oliver!, 9 - 5, Carrie, Little Shop of Horrors, 13, Grease, Peter Pan, Made in Dagenham, Joseph & many more! , original compositions used in projects around the world, featured on recordings with Richard Horne (RPO) and Dave Cottrell (Hamilton, UK Tour). As an Educator, Josh teaches the Drum Kit at; Claremont Senior School, the Ollie Boorman Drum Academy, online from his home studio and privately around Mid Sussex.
James Court - Drums
JAMES IS A DRUMMER AND DRUM TEACHER FROM EASTBOURNE, WHO HAS BEEN PLAYING FOR OVER FIFTEEN YEARS AND HAS OVER FOUR YEARS OF EXPERIENCE OF TEACHING.
AT A YOUNG AGE, JAMES FIRST DISCOVERED HIS LOVE FOR DRUMMING WHEN HE HEARD THE AEROSMITH SONG “WALK THIS WAY”, WHICH INSPIRED HIM TO TRY TO LEARN THE FAMOUS INTRO GROOVE. SOON AFTER STARTING DRUM LESSONS IN SCHOOL, HE QUICKLY BECAME INVOLVED IN AN ARRAY OF CONCERTS, GATHERING EXPERIENCE PLAYING IN JAZZ BANDS, ORCHESTRAS AND MUSICALS. UPON LEAVING SCHOOL, HE STARTED GIGGING ALL OVER THE SOUTH EAST, PLAYING IN PARTY BANDS, ROCK BANDS, FOLK GROUPS, BRASS BANDS, AND MUSICAL PIT BANDS.
VERY MUCH A GROOVE AND SONG-BASED DRUMMER, JAMES DEVELOPED A KEEN INTEREST IN MUSIC PRODUCTION, AND STARTED A SONGWRITING PARTNERSHIP WITH HIS BROTHER, LOCAL SINGER/SONGWRITER, HARRY COURT.
